Welcome to Angelo Catholic School! As the
materials posted on this website will make clear, we are a vibrant,
child-centered community which focuses on early elementary and early
adolescent education.
Our mission for education is broad: we believe in the uniqueness of each
student; all students are gifted and talented; it is our mission to
discover and uncover that giftedness and those talents and encourage
and challenge each student to become a life-long learner
in regards to the classroom and
to our faith. We
believe that learning takes place in the classroom, in the gymnasium,
on the playground, in
Mass,
and at home; we believe that a focused Pre-K and elementary school
experience is the best beginning to a
long and successful academic career.
Throughout our
history,
we have believed in a strong partnership between home and school,
and we work together with one goal in mind: what is best for your
child.
Please take a few moments and browse through our website and then
visit us at 2315 A&M Road or 20 East Beauregard to sense what words cannot express: the
community of Angelo Catholic.

ANGELO CATHOLIC
SCHOOL PHILOSOPHY
We at Angelo Catholic
School, realizing the uniqueness of each student as a special child
of God, educate the whole person. Believing and living the teachings
of Jesus provides an environment for spiritual, moral, intellectual,
social, emotional, cultural, and physical growth. Our school
encourages critical thinking, cooperative learning, and
inquiry-based learning. Every child is accepted and respected while
being challenged to become a responsible, active member not only of
the Christian community, but also of the global community.
MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission as a
Catholic school community is to create an atmosphere inspired by the
Gospel of Jesus, thus enabling our students to live in a community
of faith, service, and commitment to achieve their academic
potential.
To achieve this goal,
we will:
1. provide our children
Catholic/Christian formation and excellence in education in a
Christ-centered environment.
2. guide our students to develop
sensitivity to the needs of others by providing opportunities for
service.
3. provide opportunities for students to
improve their minds and to achieve their own individual academic
goals while striving for academic excellence.
Anglo Catholic
School exists to provide our children Catholic Christian formation
and excellence in education in a Christ-centered environment.
Mass The weekly,
45-minute service, held in the adjacent churches/chapels to each
campus, is a cherished school tradition. With Mass, a talk from the
Priest, and a celebration of the many ways that the students
demonstrate the school’s core values, it’s a warm and meaningful
gathering of the school community. Parents and friends of all faiths
are welcome.
